A meeting of Women Grievance cell of Department of Management,LKCTC was held today to make the girls students aware about the various rights possessed by them and facilities as well as schemes started by the Government to uplift the status of women .Ms Anterpreet Kaur , Coordinator and Dr Ritu Rana ( Member) Women Grievance Cell addressed the students . An emphasis was made to make the students aware about their rights ,facilities and schemes offered by the Government and Institute to uplift the status of women and make them employable and self sufficient in current scenario as today women are successful in all the fields and now they are also representing our Armed forces and making nation proud.
Dr S.K Sood ( Director) LKCTC also emphasized that in current scenario women have proved that they can give better results in all the fields whether it is education , fashion industry, Banking, Armed forces, Hospitality etc .The only need of hour is that they should get proper education and must be aware about their rights
