Two Days Workshop on NVIVO analysis

Department of Management of KCL-IMT organized two days’ workshop on NVIVO Analysis to acquaint the faculty and students with the Latest Software NVIVO Analysis which is a tool for evaluating qualitative research.

Dr Jaspreet Kaur (Associate Professor) Pearl Academy, New Delhi acted as a resource person. She explained the concepts of Qualitative Research, methods used in Qualitative Research and how NVIVO Software can be used to analyze the various methods of Qualitative Research. She stated that Qualitative research comprises of logic, ethnography, discourse analysis, case study, open-ended interview, participant observation, counseling, therapy, grounded theory, biography, comparative method, introspection, casuistry, focus group, literary criticism, meditation practice, historical research, etc. NVIVO helps qualitative researchers to organize, analyze and find insights in unstructured or qualitative data like interviews, open-ended survey responses, journal articles, social media and web content, where deep levels of analysis on small or large volumes of data are required. It a very helpful tool for researchers and academicians. The Workshop was coordinated by Dr Sonu Dua .

Dr Inderpal Singh (HOD, Management) presented vote of thanks  to Dr Jaspreet and stated that it is due to the efforts and hard work put in by our team and experts that we have been possible to disseminate knowledge even during the tough time of pandemic.
