School of Information Technology conducted a 3-day Workshop on Website Development Using WordPress. Faculty, Students of KCL-IMT, Alumni of KCL-IMT and students of other colleges attended the workshop. Through the workshop participants are provided the knowledge of how to develop website using WordPress and various options available in the WordPress like Page, Post, Widget, Slider, Themes, Menus, Plugins etc.
Incubation Cell of IT Department at KCL Institute of Management & Technology in its endeavor to provide quality education & inculcate practical skills among participants has organized 3 –Days Online Workshop on Website Development Using WordPress. WordPress is and open source Website Development CMS tool. It is used for rapid website development. WordPress is always ranked among top 5 PHP based CMS tool by many websites.
The main objective of this workshop was to enhance the technical skills of the participants, to promote entrepreneurship skills among the students and to inculcate basic website development skills among the participating students.
