An Alumni Talk Series 2020 was organized by Department of Management for the students of MBA, BBA and B. Com classes on the topic “Placement opportunities after Lockdown in the Banking Sector”. The resource person for the same was Ms. Sarbjit Kaur, Assistant Manager –Capital Small Finance Bank. She briefed the students about the importance of right attitude in life, having a long term Vision to attain success. She also laid emphasis on goal setting and said that targets help a person in overall development as attaining the same polish the skills of an individual. She also requested the students to remain positive amongst the lockdown period due to Covid-19 and asked the students to make best use of this time to learn, develop, groom and update their knowledge base and skill set. She is a pioneer student of MBA (First batch 2010 of KCLIMT) and shared her journey from her study days till date with the students. This was followed by a healthy discussion in which the students asked various questions pertaining to their doubts about banking sector related with Corporate, Retail and Individual banking and upcoming job opportunities after lockdown in this sector. Dr. Inderpal Singh–HOD Management, KCLIMT applauded the efforts of Ms Sarbjit Kaur and thanked her for sparing time from her busy job schedule.
