Research, Innovation and Extension (RI&E) Committee of KCL-IMT organized a Guest Lecture on “Entrepreneurship – A Step Towards Formidable Success” for the students of MBA, BBA & B.Com. “Never too young to start an empire. Never too old to chase a new dream”. This saying was well explicated by the resource person of guest lecture Mr. Tanish Mittal. Mr. Tanish Mittal, aged 14 years, is the youngest entrepreneur award winner and is the Founder & CEO of web based company named INNOWEBS TECH Jalandhar. He has done post graduate level Animation and VFx course from Arena Anination, an advanced course in Cyber Security & Data Protection from Secuneus Technology and a certified International Trade Expert course from Global Networks. Mr. Mittal is proficient in a number of softwares such as Coreldraw, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Android Studio, C, C++, MiniNet, to name a few. He is the founder member of YOUNG SMART CLUB which imparts public speaking skills, career oriented guidance, soft skills, intelligence, etc. to the young school and college students. Being an excellent speaker, he has delivered a number of motivational lectures in various schools, colleges and universities.
Mr. Mittal was presented token of Gratitude by Dr. Inderpal Singh (HoD-Management, KCL-IMT) and Dr. Rajan Dhir (Professor, Dept. of Management). Dr. Inderpal Singh welcomed the guest and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in current scenario. He stated that it gives immense pleasure in becoming Job Giver instead of becoming Job Seeker.
Mr. Tanish Mittal along with his father Mr. Nitin Mittal guided the students to follow their own path and provided useful insights on gaining knowledge through internet. By giving examples of successful entrepreneurs across the world, he motivated the students that they should come up with new business plans which are commercially viable with the help of their Institute and also guided them on the project funding opportunities.
Dr. Rajan Dhir presented Vote of thanks in which he highlighted the importance of becoming an entrepreneur and appreciated the speaker for his knowledgeable thoughts. He ensured that students of KCL-IMT will certainly take initiative in promoting entrepreneurship
