With the objective to enhance communication skills and raise confidence level of students, KCL-Institute of Management and Technology, Jalandhar organized a literary club activity. The activities conducted in the event were British Parliamentary Debate, Literary quiz and a Skit. The topic for the British Parliamentary Debate was “The House Believes Abolishment of the Article 370 is Justified”. The event was a great success. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Dakshit of B.Com (P) V and Paras Arora of BBA V bagged 1st position in debate competition while Jaspreet of MBA III stood 2nd and Manish of MBA 1 got 3rd position.
Shifali, Manisha, Ria bagged the 1st position in literary quiz competition while Harleen, Prabhjot, Kajal got the 2nd position ,and Sonia, Harjinder and Bhawna got the 3rd position.
Skit was the highlight of the entire event in which Manan Kapoor (B.Com(P) V), Harshita Sharma (B.Com (H)) and Karan Aujla (MBA I) showcased their acting skills to help the students understand the importance of correct usage of English language.
Dr. S.K Sood (Director, KCL-IMT) and Dr. Inderpal Singh (HoD, Management) congratulated and distributed the certificates and prizes to the winners.
