International conference ogranized on emerging Trends in Engineering & Managemen

Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering & KCL Institute of Management and Technology organized an international conference on emerging Trends in Engineering & Management in which more than 300 faculty members from India and Abroad i.e. Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and Australia Participated and exchanged their ideas & views on the above topic.

Dr. S.K Sood (Director, KCLIMT), Dr. R.S Deol (Director, LKCE),Dr. Inderpal Singh (Dean Research) & Dr. Pooja Dhand(HOD ,CS,LKCE) welcomed all the dignitaries.
In his key note speech Dr. Kalyan Sahoo (Prof. MC Univ Zimbabwe) highlighted the importance of Industry 4.0 in current scenario. He stated the 65% of children entering school currently will work in job that has not been invented yet, 49% of current jobs have potential for machine replacement and at least 1/3 of activities will be automated in near future. The 80% of skills trained for in the last 50 years can be out performed by machines. Technically Automobile activities will touch equivalent of 1.1 billion employees and $15.8 trillion wages. This is the major change and it is the time to adopt this change
Dr. Emaneul Awuor (Prof & Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Africa , Kenya) highlighted the benefits of Big Data Analytics: A Paradigm shift in Management.
Dr. Inderpal Singh(Dean Research) and Dr. Pooja Dhand(HOD,CSE) coordinated the conference and presented valedictory report in which they highlighted that more than 100 papers were presented by research depicting the emerging trends in Management, Computer Science, Civil Engineering ,Electronics, Mechanical & Applied Science.
Dr. R.S Deol presented vote of thanks to the dignitaries &paper presenters. He stated that in current scenario curriculum &pedagogy is to be designed as per the need of industry.
