Being committed to the social corporate responsibility, Social sanitisation Committee of School of Information Technology (KCLIMT) takes into its stride that no effort is left in awaring the students regarding their moral obligation for safeguarding the interests of the environment.
Keeping the same in mind, SIT organised the screening of movie ‘The day after tomorrow” for the students in mini auditorium on Saturday (29-9-18) at 9.15 AM. The movie grasped the attention of the students for two hours and provided insightful inputs to them; prompting them to maintain equilibrium in nature.
S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director Academic Affairs) , Dr. S.K Sood (Director, KCLIMT),Dr. Sanjay Bhargava (Dean, CS), Prof Kamal Nain Sharma (HOD,IT), all the faculty members of IT Department graced the occasion with their presence.
Dean Dr Sanjay Bhargava opined that SIT has always been innovative in the teaching learning process. He further divulged that Educational institutes are not only repertoire of knowledge merely rather also are Avant guard in shouldering their responsibilities for social and environmental milieu. Mr. Kamal Nain Sharma, HOD-IT also said that such events are paramount important in creating environmental awareness in youth.
