Android Based Lecture by IT department, KCL-IMT

Training and Placement Cell, IT department, KCL-IMT invited Mr. Chetan Sharma (Director, Training) and Ms. Parneet Kaur (HR manager) from The Kites IT company to present a highly informative lecture for the students of IT.
Android is an operating system whose demand is immensely expanding day by day. It is developed by Google. Today, 70% of the users use Android smart phones. Android app development business is opportunistic as well as challenging. IT companies need   creative programmers and many programmers are coming up in the market to show up their skills in designing applications using Android. With the rising expectations of Android Smartphone users, it is very important for IT students to grab a correct opportunity to design a perfect app.
Ms. Parneet informed students about the company, The Kites. Mr. Chetan Sharma gave lecture to students in detail about Android .He stated that this operating system opens the doors of several job opportunities. He gave demonstration of application designing. The lecture aimed at boosting students’ practical skills in Android .He talked about Android wrist watches and glasses and told how these devices replace smart phones. Mr.Chetan Sharma also discussed the possible developments in this field in the future.
Mr. Chetan Sharma and Miss Parneet Kaur were  presented token of love and bouquet by Dr. S. K. Sood(Director) and Mr.Kamal Nain Sharma(HOD,IT).The  guest lecture was coordinated by Ms.Ruchi(TPO),Mr. Hitesh Marwaha(coordinator Placement) and Mr.Tarun Arora(Member, Training and Placement Cell). Students got ample knowledge on android and learnt to design an application.
