An educative guest lecture based on Java and its applicability in current scenario was held at KCL-IMT by Training and Placement Cell for IT students.
KCL-IMT recognises the importance of Java for Students of IT who are prospective employees of IT industry. Java is the programming language that students must know for easier placement in the industry because It is the best programming language in terms of job opportunities. With the knowledge of Java programming language, students can develop websites, desktop applications, mobile applications and games. This field promises high salary packages to students in their future. Nowadays maximum applications are developed through Java. Many server side applications and high frequency trading applications are written in this programming language.
Training and Placement Cell of IT department invited Engineer Amit Baria to present the lecture. Er. Amit Baria is Sun Microsystems certified Java programmer from HCL, Gurgaon. Er.Baria focused deeply on the importance of Java learning for the students looking forward to placements in reputed IT companies. He stated that Java is used for web development and this language is a popular requested skill by the employers. He told how major companies use Java. Er.Amit Baria’s lecture removed many doubts of students related to progrmming language.
Er.Amit Baria was presented token of love and bouquet by Dr.S.K.Sood(Director) and Mr.Kamal Nain Sharma(HOD,IT).The event was coordinated by Ms.Ruchi(TPO),Mr.Hitesh Marwaha(coordinator Placement) and Mr.Tarun Arora(Member,Training and Placement Cell). Students found the guest lecture highly informative.
