SIT, an offshoot of #KCLIMT, Organized #Tech Radiance (IT Fest) on 26th October, 2017 in the college premises with the sole aim of disseminating knowledge of the discipline of Information Technology under the able guidance of Sardar Sukhbir Singh Chatha, Director, Academic Affairs, #KCL Group of Institutes.
The event embarked on with the incantation of religious songs followed by western solo dance. There were various events in which 18 schools and colleges of the region partook with fervour. Events like App Master, IT Quiz, IT Entrepreneurship, Website development, Logic Development, Tech Savvy, LAN Gaming etc. were the star attractions in the coterie of other events.
Mr. Arpit Shukla (IPS), #IGP, Jalandhar graced the event as chief guest. In his address he appreciated the institute for taking such initiatives. Director Dr S K Sood underlined the significance of these fests in his address. Dean Dr Sanjay Bhargava welcomed the schools and thanked them for being the part and parcel of such events; making it a grand success.
