‘World No Tobacco Day’ is observed all over the world on 31st May every year. As we all know that Tobacco and Tobacco products are very injurious to health. According to 2009-10 GATS(Global Audit Tobacco Survey) report 1,60,000 minors(under 18) begin using tobacco every year in Punjab. To make the Teachers, staff and college going students aware about the ill effects of tobacco, PTU has directed the colleges to observe ‘World No Tobacco Day’.
In this Context, KCL-IMT as per PTU Letter No. IKG-PTU/NSS/17/218 is going to observe ‘World No Tobacco Day’ on 15/05/2017. On this occasion the results of painting competition will be declared and an oath taking will be held in Room No. 103 at 1:00 PM. All are required to assemble in Room No. 103 at 12:50 PM sharp on 15/05/2017.
