School of Information Technology at KCL-IMT, Jalandhar, in its pursuit of excellence in the field of IT education to its MCA & BCA students, has started a very first of its kind Series on Advanced IT (SAIT) related concepts. SAIT is primarily aimed at enhancing the learning skills of MCA & BCA students and is comprised of various interactive modules such as live / recorded webinars, seminars, expert talks, guest lectures, video lectures, project management, online / offline training on advanced IT topics, etc.
Dr. Sanjay Bhargava, Dean (Computer Sciences), LKC group of Institutions, Jalandhar at the inaugural assembly of SAIT has revealed that one such activity under SAIT shall be conducted every week and the concerned students shall be drifted towards effective learning at a steady pace. He further added that in this competitive era of cutting edge technologies, SAIT is a unique series that aims to make every concerned student well aware about all the updates in the field of information technology. In the same sequence, a webinar has been conducted on one of the most advanced IT technology “Augmented Reality” where in Dr Bhargava has presented the various future aspects concerning AR technology. A large number of concerned students and faculty members attended and treasured the valuable knowledge from this session.
Earlier, the session was inaugurated by the worthy Director (Academic Affairs) S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha, Director (KCL-IMT) Dr. S K Sood, Dean (Computer Sciences) Dr. Sanjay Bhargava, Prof.Kamal Nain Sharma (HOD, IT) and other dignitaries of KCL-IMT. On the occasion S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha appreciated the SAIT initiative which has been taken for the upliftment of student’s learning skills in the field of advanced IT. He further congratulated the faculty members and students of School of Information Technology for the grand success of SAIT’s first session. Later, Dr. S K Sood also expressed his best wishes for the ensuing sessions of SAIT. And the first session of SAIT got shuttered after the vote of thanks by Dr. Sanjay Bhargava.
