KCL-IMT Organized Alumni Talk Series-I. The main objective to conduct this event is to form “Alumni Association office Bearer Committee” which shall actively participate in all the affairs of the institute. The institute came up with an innovative concept of involving the alumni in the academic, social, technical and placement events being conducted in the college.
In this Talk alumni interact with the current MCA & MBA students & also gave lecture on “carrier guidance and opportunities”. Alumni Mr. Umesh Sharma, Network Engineer(TCS), Mr. Dilpreet Dhanoa, IT Coordinator(Ivy World International School), Mr. Gurnek Singh, Director(Inselberg Overseas and Educational Services), Ms. Rajvir Kaur, Assistant Manager(Axis Bank), Ms. Maninder Dhanoya, Assistant Manager(HDFC Bank) have also shared their professional experiences and guided the students how to adjust and survive in the industry. Placement coordinator Ms. Ruchi Sachdeva interacted and motivated the alumni and current students.
Moreover alumni actively participated & enjoyed various one minute games and won various prizes.
At the end of the event S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha(Director, Academic Affairs), Dr. S. K Sood(Director, KCl-IMT), Prof. Kamal Nain Sharma(HOD, IT), Prof. Ramandeep Singh Deol(HOD, Management),Dr.Inderpal Singh (Head,Media & Public Relations), Mrs. Ranjna Bahri(Alumni Talk convener), Mr. Tarunjit Singh(Alumni Talk Co-convener) gave gifts to all the alumni.
