CORPORATE & INDUSTRIAL VISITS:
KCL-IMT emphasizes on industry oriented inputs, hands-on training and facilitate the students in focus on developing essential abilities and capabilities, so as to make them more employable. The Institute periodically take the students to industries and corporates for visits and regularly organizes guest and extension lectures to inculcate practical industry-oriented teaching.
Visit to Impinge Solutions, Mohali
Students of MCA visited Impinge Solutions, Mohali where they upgraded their awareness regarding the current market scenarios in the field of IT, most demanding technologies, selection criteria, etc. An interactive session with the Technical Head provided guidance to students in selecting the areas like web development, mobile application development and software testing.
Visit to Aarti International Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana
Students of MBA were taken for an industrial-cum-educational visit to Aarti International Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana, wherein they got a chance to explore high-tech Research and Development Lab. The students interacted with the Training Head who acquainted them with the manufacturing processes of cotton, polyester cotton, viscose and other yarns and fabrics.
Visit to Country Inn & Suites, Jalandhar
Students of HMCT visited Hotel Country Inn and Suites, Jalandhar to have an insight into different departments of the hotel. The interaction of students with the HR executive and general manager of the hotel provided them with the practical exposure towards functioning of hotel departments.
Visit to Sukhjit Starch Mill, Phagwara
Students of BBA and B.Com (H) went to Sukhjit Starch Mill, Phagwara where they got a chance to witness Corn Wet Milling Facility. This industrial visit was meant to showcase the power of young entrepreneurs and motivate students to venture on emerging opportunities.
Visit to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala
Students of MBA, BBA & B.Com (Hons.) went to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala where they visited the Production Department, and got an insight into the working methodology of production process of rail coaches.
